Classic Cars

Our classic car and vehicle show takes place on Sunday 12July on the main village playing field.

We welcome classic vehicles of all types, shapes and sizes from across the decades and hope to reach our maximum 100 vehicle capacity. Our event is free, friendly and welcoming to all.

Visitors enjoy the variety of different vehicles, from classic car collectors and groups from across Coventry & Warwickshire and afar.

Previous classic car highlights have included Jaguar e-type, Jensen Interceptor, Morgan, TVRs, Triumph Stags and American cars from the 50’s and 60’s.

It’s also great to see a number of the village classic ‘home fleet’ making an appearance.

For further information and to book your car please contact Steve as in previous years or via brinklowfestival@gmail.com

Dog Show Display

Important Update: Sadly due to the forecast high temperature we have taken the decision to cancel the dog show and display for the safety of the dogs.

Back for another year on Saturday 11th July, the extremely popular dog show brings dogs and their owners from all over the county and beyond.

This year we are delighted to be joined by Nuneaton Dog Training Club once again.

In the morning we have displays from the club’s demonstration team. These displays are shown across the midlands each year and were hugely popular when we ran in 2022 and 2024. For the festival they will provide both a Dog scent and Pet Obedience display

In the afternoon our dog show will take place with classes starting at 12pm. Entries will be open on the day from 11am. Entries cost £2 per class or 3 entries for £5. Classes will be judged by Nuneaton Dog Training Club Demonstration Team.

Winners will each receive a Rosette to 5th Place + BIS & RBIS Rosettes.

Dog show classes will be:

1. Puppy (Up to 12 months)

2. Best Pure Breed

3. Best Cross Breed

4. Prettiest Bitch

5. Handsomest Dog

6. Best Rescue / Rehomed Dog or Bitch

7. Dog with waggiest Tail

8. Dog in Best Condition

9. Dog the judges would most like to take home

10. Best Trick or Obedience Moves

RAF Flypast

We are very excited to announce an RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Flypast at Brinklow Festival for Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th July.

The iconic Spitfire will be visiting the Festival and Scarecrow Trail  and provide a single flypast on Saturday.

On Sunday 12th we will be treated to a Dakota flypast at 13.35.

The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight operates from RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire, flying hundreds of displays and flypasts each year to commemorate those that have fallen in the service of the UK. The RAF BBMF also serves to promote the modern day air force and inspire future generations.

It’s very important to note that this a flypast only and not a full display. Attendance is subject to weather, serviceability and last minute change by RAF. We however keep our fingers crossed!

The Douglas C47 Dakota is one of the most successful military transport aircraft designs in history, and was widely used by the Allies during World War Two.

The Flight’s Dakota ZA947, named ‘Kwicherbichen’ by her crews, conducted paradropping operations on the eve of D-Day, plus missions to evacuate casualties and re-supply forces.

She is displayed on her own and in BBMF formations, and also used for training pilots and aircrew for the Flight’s Lancaster.
