Volunteer

In order for the festival to take place, it requires lots volunteers of all ages from across the community. Volunteering is fun and rewarding to be part of a team, get to know new people and know you are helping support village life and fund raising.

Without volunteers helping over the weekend the festival is simply unable to take place.

Volunteering can be as a little of 2-3 hours and requires no long term commitments, attendance of meetings, commitment to future events or lengthy training – just on the day.

Just your time and enthusiasm is all we need!

So we can be certain that we have enough people for the festival to take place, please complete the form below.

Craft Stalls

The festival provides a great opportunity to showcase crafts, gifts, produce for local businesses. We have 45 different stall holders confirmed. Businesses are selling a wide range of handicrafts, homewares, pet supplies and much more.
Stalls are located on our main village festival field with our live bands stage, activities, commercial stands and entertainment. A smaller number of stalls generally selling crafts are St Johns church
Charities and community organisations also enjoy having space to promote groups to new members, supporters and highlight their work.
Please support local small businesses with some of the brilliant products that they have for sale.
Our village mobile signal can be a little inconsistent so we recommend that you bring cash.
Please only communicate with our official channels of brinklowfestival@gmail.com or our direct Facebook page. We are aware of individuals claiming to accept bookings on our behalf – these are fake.

How to find us

Brinklow itself is just a 20 minute drive from the centre of Coventry or 15 minutes from the centre of Rugby. We are easy to find!

We have ample festival parking off Coventry Road which will be clearly signposted off Rugby Road. Parking with a programme is £10 per car including porgamme. We ask that all visitors support the village by using the festival car park rather than parking on street.

Commercial

Our main event field hosts live bands, activities and displays throughout the weekend. We invite commercial businesses to provide on the field street/ take-away food and drink as well as paid public activities. Previous years activities have included inflatables, children’s games and fair ground rides. The event has been very well supported by the local public from the village and across Coventry & Warwickshire.

Commercial pitches need to be first discussed with us by contacting brinklowfestival@gmail.com or Facebook Messenger to discuss the services which you can offer and the commercial basis of operation.

We would love for you to join us in providing a fun weekend for all ages.es

Fundraising

The Brinklow festival has been raising funds for community groups since it’s inauguration in 2015. As a biennial event over £35,000 has been raised for community groups and facilities.

The festival is run by villagers on a voluntary basis with invaluable support from many community groups that has made the event such as success. Community Groups involved include the Scouts, WI, St John’s Church, URC Church, Parish Council, Village Lengthsmen, Youth Club and Brinklow FC.

Our festival aims are to organise a fun and safe event suitable for all raising funds that provide grants to support village life.

In 2019 over £11,000 was given to community groups to support the development of village life and ongoing maintenance of key village facilities. Funding is determined by the event committee following application from groups.

Successful grants were awarded to; St Johns Church (window restoration), Scouts, URC Church (Porch Roof), Village Hall, OAP Christmas Lunch, Lengthsmen (equipment), Parish Council (community safety project) and Youth Club. Additionally smaller grants were given to community groups that assisted and also attended the event.

Your support of the event in previous years has significantly supported life in Brinklow and beyond.
