We hope to be back at August 2024 Bank Holiday.
The 2022 festival was the 4th running of the event and enormously successful.
Taking place for two days over August Bank Holiday thousands of people attended and enjoyed the glorious sunshine.
The scarecrow trail ran for a whole week across the village with over 100 displays.
Our festival field was busy all week long with dog show and demonstration on Saturday and huge classic car show on Sunday.
We were entertained by live music and dance all weekend long on the live music stage kindly supported by Reason Transport.
The star of the show for many was the flypast of RAF Lancaster on Sunday afternoon and a further trail visit on Monday.
There is no festival in 2023 but we hope to be back in August 2024 – planning for which will commence Autumn 2023 – keep an eye out on Facebook for more information.

We’ve been since it started and absolutely love it 😍 we love the fact some houses add the addition of music to match the theme of the scarecrow too...

Such a friendly community vibe.

As a family we loved it. We had grandparents on mobility scooters and babies in buggies. It was accessible to all. Loved that residence had food and drink stalls. We used the WI stall! Loved the fair in the field. Parking was well organised.

Absolutely love coming to the village for the scarecrow festival. Love the friendly atmosphere of the village and the live groups are a wonderful way to end the day.
